!The Challenge

A technical founder with deep expertise but zero online presence. Posting sporadically, getting no traction, and watching less-qualified competitors win attention. Every lead came from referrals — nothing was predictable or scalable.

The Strategy

We started with positioning: one clarity workshop to define what he uniquely believed about his space. Then built a content system around 3 pillars, set up an AI-assisted drafting workflow (Claude for drafts, his voice rules baked into prompts), and committed to 3 posts per week with a Sunday batch session.

The Results

Follower count went from ~500 to 5,000+ in 3 months. More importantly: 2 inbound consulting inquiries per week, a podcast invitation, and his first conference speaking slot — all attributable to content. Time cost: about 4 hours per week.

What made the difference

Three things, in order of impact:

1. Positioning before content

He wanted to post about everything — AI, hiring, fundraising, product. We cut it to one core belief: most startups automate too early and die of complexity. Every post ladders back to that.

2. A repeatable weekly system

  • Sunday (45 min): batch-draft 3 posts with the AI workflow
  • Mon / Wed / Fri: publish + 15 minutes of replies
  • Monthly: review what performed, adjust the angle

3. AI as a drafting tool, not a ghostwriter

His prompts include his voice rules and 2 sample posts. AI produces the first 70% — he rewrites the hook and adds one real example from his week. Readers can't tell, because the ideas are his.

The lesson

Consistency compounds, but only after clarity. Six weeks in, growth looked slow. Week 10 was the inflection point — one post hit, and the system was already in place to capture the attention.
