Repurposing Content: How to Turn One Article Into 15 Pieces of Content
Creating original content from scratch every time is the most expensive way to run a content strategy. Smart repurposing multiplies your output without multiplying your work.

The Repurposing Advantage
Most content marketers are stuck in a creation loop: write something new, publish it, repeat. This approach is exhausting, expensive, and leaves enormous value on the table.
Repurposing turns one idea into many formats. Each format reaches a different audience and serves a different purpose — with a fraction of the original creation effort.
The 15-Piece Framework
From one 1,500-word blog article, here is what you can produce:
From the full article (3 pieces):
- —LinkedIn long-form article (formatted for LinkedIn's algorithm)
- —Email newsletter (condensed to 400 words with one CTA)
- —Podcast script or audio summary (if you have a podcast or want to start one)
From each main section (3 pieces per section): A 1,500-word article typically has 3–4 main sections. Each section becomes: 4. A standalone LinkedIn post (the section's core insight as a 5–7 sentence post) 5. A Twitter/X thread (numbered insights from the section) 6. A short-form video script (60-second hook + insight)
From 4 sections: 12 additional pieces.
From the key insights overall: 13. Infographic or carousel (the 5 main takeaways, visual format) 14. Email subject line test series (3–5 email hooks from the article's most compelling angles) 15. Lead magnet template (if the article teaches a process, the template version of that process)
Total: 15 pieces from one article.
The Repurposing Workflow
The key to efficient repurposing is not doing it manually. Build an AI workflow that takes your article and outputs:
- —3 LinkedIn post drafts (one per section)
- —1 email newsletter draft
- —5 tweet drafts
